Every channel, one notification API.
Transactional email, in-app inbox, SMS, and chat behind a single, predictable call. We handle the providers, retries, templating, and unsubscribes. You ship the feature.
Four channels. One template. Zero glue code.
Write your message once. Notavia renders it for every channel using Scriban, picks the right providers, and hands you back a single event you can trace end-to-end. Push is next on the roadmap.
Transactional and broadcast. Bring your own: dedicated SendGrid, Resend, Postmark and Mailgun integrations, or any SMTP host — Azure Communication Services included. Managed Amazon SES sending is not active yet.
In-app inbox
Drop-in, white-label inbox as a framework-agnostic web component — it runs in React, Vue or plain HTML — or as a Blazor component. Real-time over SignalR, persisted server-side.
SMS
Bring your own Twilio or Vonage credentials. Per-recipient suppression and opt-out handled for you. There is no managed SMS option.
Chat
Reach users where they already work. Microsoft Teams and Discord from the same template and event, via webhook.
PushComing soon
Will deliver iOS, Android, and web push from one event, on the same template model as every other channel.
From event to delivered, in three lines.
Set up once. Call notify.notifications.send() with a channel, a template, and the recipient. Notavia renders, routes, retries, and reports back via webhooks.
Author a template
One source of truth per event — email body, in-app title, SMS short form, chat message. Per-tenant, runtime-editable, previewable, with Scriban data.
Send with one call
notify.notifications.send({ channel, recipient, template, data }). Idempotency keys built in. Schedule, digest, and fan-out via workflows.
Observe & iterate
Every send traced. Delivered, bounced, and complained events as signed webhooks — replayable, with bounces auto-suppressed. Filter and search the delivery log in the console.
Every feature your team will ask for in month three.
Retries, idempotency, suppression
Automatic retry with backoff, idempotency keys built in, and bounces and complaints auto-suppressed. Failed sends never silently vanish.
Multi-provider sending that survives an outage
Bring SendGrid, Resend, Postmark, Mailgun or your own SMTP — and fail over between them automatically when one starts rejecting. See which provider is degrading, and get emailed the moment one begins dropping your mail. Plus guided SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and open and click tracking.
Unsubscribes, preferences & EU residency
One-click unsubscribe, per-user channel and category preferences, suppression lists, quiet hours, and EU data residency by default. Our Data Processing Agreement is published, not held back for request.
Trace every send
One event ID, every state change. Replay any webhook. Filter, search, and export delivery logs — 1 day on Free and Starter, 7 on Growth, 30 on Pro and Scale, or 90+ with the extended-retention add-on.
Scriban, per-channel, previewable
Author once with Scriban, render the same data into email, in-app, SMS, and chat. Runtime-editable per tenant, with live preview in the console.
.NET, TypeScript, Python, Go & PHP — all at 1.0
First-party .NET and TypeScript clients, plus generated SDKs for Python, Go, and PHP. All are published on NuGet, npm, PyPI, Packagist and the Go module proxy. Typed payloads, automatic retries, no HTTP boilerplate.
Workspace, roles, audit logs
Invite teammates with roles, scope API keys to Test and Live environments, audit who sent what. SAML 2.0 & OIDC SSO available on Enterprise and self-host.
Notavia, in answers.
- You'd be wiring up a provider, retries, templating, suppression, preferences, observability, and webhooks — across email, in-app, SMS, and chat. Notavia is that whole stack behind one API, white-label, with managed or bring-your-own providers.
- Yes, and at launch it is the only way. Bring your own email sending (dedicated SendGrid, Resend, Postmark and Mailgun integrations, or any SMTP host, Azure Communication Services included) and your own Twilio or Vonage for SMS. Managed sending is not active yet, so plan on supplying provider credentials.
- Our managed cloud is hosted in Germany, with EU data residency by default — a deliberate alternative to US-centric notification tools. Our Data Processing Agreement is published in full at /legal/dpa, and self-host lets you keep all data in your own infrastructure.
- Yes. Self-host with Docker Compose or our Helm chart, behind an offline-validated, signed licence — no phone-home, air-gap capable. It runs the same codebase as our cloud, with bring-your-own providers. White-label OEM is contract-only: contact us, we review the fit, and delivery follows a signed agreement. There is no self-serve OEM sign-up.
- A negotiated uptime SLA with service credits is available on Enterprise and OEM contracts. Channel delivery itself always depends on downstream providers and recipients.
